Nevertheless, this option is not very popular due to not very high aesthetics, but it is wonderful for those who are not interested in the option of ceiling, designed using ordinary whitewashing, and there are not enough means to install hinged ceilings or other modern design solutions.

The glue ceiling is a surface finish with foam tiles of a certain geometric shape, after which the usual appearance of the room completely changes. Another advantage of the adhesive ceiling is the simplicity of its installation, because it is enough just to glue the tile to the ceiling without a thorough preparation of the surface.

Tiles of adhesive ceiling are offered in a large assortment: they can be of different shapes (square and rectangular) and any texture (from smooth to relief or mushrooms). The proposed color scheme of ceiling tiles is diverse: from purely white to any other color, tiles can be laminated or simple, their coloring is possible for almost any material, that is, under wood, fabric, mother of pearl, stone and so on.

In addition, the ceiling pasted with such tiles has soundproofing and heat -insulating properties. They can be used in any room and stick on any surface.

The main disadvantage of adhesive ceilings is the short service life, because they do not have moisture resistance, light resistance and quickly acquire a yellowish tint. In addition, there are seams and joints on the ceiling that violate the impression of integrity. Another major drawback is the combustibility of this material, which completely eliminates compatibility with built -in lamps.
