The outgoing 2002 was successful for the MNIITEPs. Tasks for the timely support of the construction complex of Moscow were completed with new, progressive projects for residential construction, as well as the necessary design and design documentation.

One of the most important areas of the team’s activity is the development of a new generation of projects, which, thanks to their innovative urban planning, architectural, planning, constructive and engineering solutions, provide opportunities to develop mass industrial construction in Moscow. In particular, for experimental targeted construction, the house-building plant No. 1 designed 9-14-story residential buildings in the new Yubileiny Structural System. It makes it possible to more flexibly solve the layout of apartments. For the development of premium and construction of prefabricated and monolithic houses, a project of a 25-story residential building was developed, which allows more to use the creative capabilities of architects. The development of monolithic construction is a task for DSK-3, by order of which new projects of a 23-story residential building have been created.
The houses of the popular P46M series continue to be built in Moscow. But it was time for them to modernize. Based on products used for their construction, the MNIITEP developed by order of the Su-155 a series of 16-story block-sections IP46S. They are favorably distinguished by new architectural decisions of the facades, spacious and convenient in planning the decision of the apartment, lobby with the entrance area. The pilot house of this series is already being built on Aleo Dundich Street and will be rented before the end of this year. The development of 14-storey blocks of P46M with improved facades and modernized apartments is also completed. They will meet new requirements for the prevention of progressive collapse and fire safety. On the first floors – the lobby of the watchman, the elevator is at the lobby level, pre -apartment spacious sites in front of the apartments. Different types of apartments have clear functional zoning, the dimensions of rooms, front and kitchens are convenient, and a new type of engineering equipment is provided. And another element very important from the point of view of the general aesthetics is the obligatory glazing of loggias and balconies.
The institute designs not only residential buildings, but also social buildings. The development of working drawings of a comprehensive school for 24 classes in monolithic constructions, which will be built in Kurkin has already been completed. The use of monolithic concrete makes it possible to create an original in architecture and a comfortable educational building. The construction of this school will begin this year.
In the field of activity of the MNIITEP – the introduction of new finishing materials, products and structures, heating devices, electrical and engineering equipment through the current and created projects. In 2002, developments were made to introduce automatic control units of heating and mechanical ventilation systems, which allow us to achieve 25-30%energy savings. Mass construction also adopted food and flushing devices for disinfection of garbage chips, the introduction of a new, environmentally friendly non -gas intake of garbage mansions was launched.
Another area of activity of MNIITEP is associated with the deployment of work on the reorganization, reconstruction and modernization of 5-story residential buildings of the mass series of the first period of industrial housing construction using wooden-metal structures for attic.
The institute constantly and closely interacts with the production enterprises of the city construction complex, actively introduces more advanced types of structures that provide mobile opportunities for creating original architectural and planning solutions in accordance with the requirements of the third millennium.
