This is the place where the dream and the holiday settled, perhaps that is why the Mediterranean style of architecture is so popular today. The one who is inclined to believe that such houses are building only on the sea coast is wrong. This style has an important feature: each country has its own variations of execution. Say, in Italy, architects love to use olive and warm terracotta tones, as well as ocher shades. But the Greeks prefer only cold shades: hence the famous Greek walls with yellow, blue, white and light blue accents.
