Many construction technologies that have come from the West can hardly be used in Russia in full force, which is largely due to the characteristics of the climate. Many light structures are simply not able to provide the necessary level of thermal insulation. However, this does not apply to sandwich panels-unique wall material, which allows to sharply reduce the cost of any construction. Despite their rather simple structure, the sandwich panels are not only inferior, but significantly win in terms of thermal insulation in materials such as concrete or brick.
The win, which is evaluated by experts, as twelve-time, is combined with an extremely insignificant common weight of the building from sandwich panels. Suffice it to say that a brick building of comparable dimensions will require 80 times a more massive foundation than for a building from sandwich panels. Moreover, if, for example, the construction of a traditional wooden house should be carried out strictly at a certain time of the year, which is determined by the temperature regime, then when using sandwich panels, you can start working in summer heat and in winter frosts.
Decorative decoration of sandwich panels can be very diverse, which allows designers to vary both the appearance of the building and internal interiors. An additional plus is, of course, the ease of panels processing – it is not difficult to fit them in place, cut or change the form. At the same time, the constructive strength of the building from the sandwich panels does not cause any complaints even among the most picky customers.
Today, you can more often find production, or service structures built from sandwich panels. In residential buildings, individual elements are more often used, or, for example, partitions made from sandwich panels. In the future, perhaps this material will be wider in housing.
