Household water pumps designed to supply clean water are divided into submersible and superficial.
Superficial pumps are mounted a little from a water source, which is taken with a hard hose or a fence pipeline. Negative pressure in the device allows you to pick up water from a depth of up to 9 meters. Often such pumps are supplemented by hydrophore and automation unit, which allows them to be used in home water supply systems.
Submersion pumps are installed in full or partially in water and are able to serve water from a very large depth – up to one hundred meters. There are no rubbing parts in such pumps, and the engine operating in a chilled environment is protected from overheating. Submersight pumps are equipped with a cable, a feed hose and airtight electric cable. A number of models can have a special electric block and work in automatic mode. To protect the elements of the pump from corrosion, the parts are made of structural plastics, alloyed, stainless or carbon steel. It should be noted that the repair of water pumps of this type is very difficult, since the replaced parts cannot always ensure the tightness of the case.
Poster pumps are used to lift water from wells and wells. Polodeus pumps are used to supply water from a depth of up to 10 meters, they are productive, but at the same time they consume very little electricity. It is important to remember that such pumps should be located at a distance of more than a meter from the bottom, otherwise the suction of sand will occur, which can score the filter used in the pump.
Water supply from a large depth is carried out using borehole pumps that have a cylindrical shape, and their diameter varies from 75 to 150 mm.
