Classification of carpets: what to look for

The modern market offers many floor coverings, and one of the most popular is the carpet. The technology of the production of this coating determines its type – woven, tafing and needle -punched.

Woven carpet is the most expensive and durable. It is produced as an ordinary carpet, and natural jute fibers made in the form of a mesh are used as a base.

The tapting method of production consists in flashing the canvas with a pile thread, which is fixed with adhesive composition. Production technology allows you to produce loop and pile structures.

In loop carpets, the loops are directed up and differ in a very rigid surface, which ensures high wear resistance. Since such a carpet uses a pre -painted thread with high resistance to color abrasion, the coating can be used in rooms with high patency. Loop carpets can be single -level and multi -level. In the latter case, the loops have different heights.

The pile carpet can be short-term (pile length 2-3 mm), mediumorors (3-5 m) and high-air (more than 5 mm). The latter is recommended for the bedroom, and the rest are for offices, halls or living rooms.

And finally, the needle -proof carpet. It is produced by driving the threads with needles into the initial basis, to which an additional, most often rubber. Such a carpet is very wear -resistant, looks like a felt and is used in rooms with high patency.
